Mein Golf New Orleans Edition

Hello everyone !
As I mentioned in the Welcome section for the new members , I will present my car .

I bought the car from Germany one year and a half ago .
It is a 2 door Volkswagen Golf 3 New Orleans Edition, equiped a 1.4l ABD engine and with a 5 gear transmision . I choosen this engine because in my country there is a so called " first registration tax" that is huge. The bigger the engine capacity - the bigger the tax .

When I bought the car it was almost stock . The only modifications were : the front and the back VW badges coloured in the same paint as the car , the rear drum brakes were painted the same, some aftermarket fog lights mounted and the stereo was not original (betta,alfa etc.) it was a Gelhard unit .

Alongside these tiny modifications the car is equiped with : ABS , Power steering, 2 airbags, electric sun roof, electrical adjustable headlights, 15" RH aluminium rims. The special thing about this car is it's colour. I absolutely love it !!!

The first modification was to paint the badges back in their original colour . I will present the car's evolution since it got on my hands gradually. Until then here are 2 photos of it.

Did you use a retrofit kit for the US system or made them by yourself?

I used OEM parts.

I have some trouble uploading pictures. It sais everytime that it has failed . Any ideea ? I could use some help.

I installed a GT spoiler on the rear hatch.

P.s. Why I am not allowed to upload photos ? Every time I try to upload I get an error even though the picture has the normal size and format.
