Grauen und blauen stecker Nokia DSP
 

Hallo an alle,

wenn ich mein MK3 GTI 16v 20 Jahre gekauft, leider so gut wie alles, was ein „20 Jahre“ macht gestrippt wird ... Nur die roten Bänder waren noch drin (und auch dies war einer der Seat Cupra :'D ).
Inzwischen fand ich die alle richtigen Teile und zum Teil bereits wieder aufgebaut.

Nun begann ich zu Nokia DSP System, aber hier ist das, was ich festgelegt . Ich weiß, wie das Kabel laufen soll,alles ist fertig, zu testen, bevor die feste Installation.

Alles ist verbunden, mit Ausnahme der grauen und blauen stecker. Ich weiß nicht, wo es sein sollte. Ich denke, irgendwo im Sicherungskasten , aber ich sehe keinen Platz ganz. Oder bin ich etwas fehlt? (Ich gebrauch ein originale gamma mit dsp radio)

Ich veronderschuldig mir Deutsch, ich bin aus Belgien. Antworten auf Englisch kann auch :'D

Hi!

Blue connector: Speed signal (because Nokia DSP increases volume when the speed of the car becomes higher);

Grey connector: Voltage for illumination of the operating panel unit.

Both connectors must be plugged into the potential distributors with the corresponding color, see picture:

They may be located on top of the relay plate (earlier cars) or on a separate special plastic base in the area of the dash board like on the photo (later cars).

I have found the separate plastic base with the connectors and I have connected the blue and grey connectors, I now can see that the illumination works! Thank you!

But... I still have NO sound... The radio does work (original gamma radio, connected with the black iso connector from the car). But no sound, and I don't hear anything working in the back (amplifier or woofer).

There is 1 last cable that isn't connected, it's a red and white kabel. It's been cut off at the red iso connector. Is this the remote (see picture)? Where should I have to connect this cable ?

YES YES YES! It works !! The red/white remote cable goes in the black iso connector in pin 3, correct ?

1 last problem, when I turn of the car and back on again, the radio starts with "SAFE" always. I know I need to switch some cables, but I don't know which cables ?

Nice to hear that it works now.


Yes, you´re right: This cable is remote für the DSP amplifier. It has to be connected to pin 3 of the black radio connector (= switched + 12 Volt).


It is important that permanent + 12 Volt (= main operating voltage of the radio) has to be connected to pin 7 of the black radio connector. Sometimes it is connected to pin 4 = + 12 Volt ignition = remote to switch the radio on/off via key.
