Gegen 11.40 Uhr durchfuhr die Eigentümerin des schwarzen VW Golf die Straße "Trift", um nach Hause zu fahren. Zur Durchführung eines kurzfristigen Telefonates mit ihrem Handy, stellte sie ihren Pkw auf einem rechtsseitig gelegenen Parkstreifen in unmittelbarer Höhe der Justizvollzugsanstalt ab. Nur wenige Sekunden später bemerkte die 48-jährige eine kleine Flamme im Innenraum ihres Autos. Geistesgegenwärtig stieg die Frau aus und alarmierte sofort die Feuerwehr. Diese rückte blitzschnell aus. Dennoch wurde der Golf ein Raub der Flammen - der Wagen brannte komplett aus. Schaden rund 3000 Euro. Die 11 eingesetzten Brandschützer der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Celle löschten das Feuer mit Einsatz von Löschschaum. Nach ersten polizeilichen Erkenntnissen ist davon auszugehen, dass die mögliche Brandursache auf einen technischen Defekt in der Sicherungsanlage zurückzuführen ist. Die Ermittlungen in dieser Sache dauern aber noch an. Die Trift wurde für die Löscharbeiten für die Dauer von rund 20 Minuten voll gesperrt. Zu Verkehrsbehinderungen kam es nicht. |
