Finally i fitted the camber paltes (good machined from poland) They assure a -3° camber degree. The fitting is so easy, but i found a trouble when i was fitting the second camber... http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/01/512.jpg This spacer will make some trouble: the first is that lift the car, and the second is that i found 2 diffrernt wrong spacers for each camber http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/01/513.jpg http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/01/514.jpg This is the trouble There's a 1,3 cm of difference: th golf is higher on a side, but i check the problem when was time to screw the bolt on the damper thread :( http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/01/515.jpg I solve the problem replacing the wrong apcers with these rebored bushes. They fitted perfectly wihout lifting the car. http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/01/516.jpg The camber is made in 2 parts (upper and lower screwed with 8 bolts). I take the the lower to replace the rubber struts. http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/01/517.jpg Loewering slow the car, and the camber will fit with any trouble. http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/01/518.jpg Finish. Screw the 8 bolts. I place the camber with 90° degree from side spar. I make the right both camber with caliber. These camber plate assure (with 0° degree at wheels) - 3° degree. http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/01/519.jpg http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/01/520.jpg http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/01/521.jpg http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/01/522.jpg |

Vader xD I like this picture :-) |
Hallo mates, i have a problem to show you. At rear axle i have a -4.10 camber: result is an excessive tyre wear, but the real problem is that the golf have a very bad handling. I would to know which is the oem rear camber and the maximum camber set from vw. Thanks a lot. |
I also checked that i have an excessive positive toe angle. |
You have camber plates installed at the rear axle right? I know this problem. I had the same problem with my first camber plates. My friend build some new camber plates for which correct these. After work at this evening i will upload some pics how the right camber plates should look like ;-) Alternative you can use camber shimps like Golf3csl |
