Francesco...i think your modifications for 2014 will be a step backwards :(

Dustin is right your appoint, but i would try new way.

I fit vento front from 9 years. My first apply was in 2006 (as you seen on my first GTI)
I always run with large wheels like brock, schmidt and artec.

My choices are ever bad for most people when i started my project. I think the final result of this step (or downgrade for the most) will be another way, another look...i'm looking for a something new and differently. Stay tuned. ;)

I'm sure, all your modifications for next year will be done in the same quality as the last ones.
Make your way dude ;)
The car will looking in good in the new specs! better then 2k13 ?? We are waiting with the judge :D

P.s. I comprehend it really good, your wish to another look, because i will also change a little bit :)

FraH2O 15.10.2013 18:35

Changing home, i stole the doors of old wardrobe's girlfriend. :D I'll build new climbs...

http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/10/371.jpg

First 2k14 step. Rear GTI lights with FlyEyes film. Required tools: girlfriend phon (for my it's a heat gun...i burn my finger :D ), and soft nail thinner to prepare surface before apply.

http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/10/372.jpg

My oem GTI never fitted from 2009

FlyEyes

Texturized vs oem. Watching close is possible to see the texture (1 meter less).

http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/10/376.jpg

I don't cover the palstic trim between indicators and rest of taillight. I think is better look.

U need red Magic Color :)

poisenchef86 15.10.2013 19:51

For me the new taillight look is to dull...

Why not prepare a set of black magic colour taillights...its simple to remove the orange indicator inlay.
;)

BuzzDee 15.10.2013 20:55

why you don't use dark foil for this? it would look better i think ;)

googleman21 15.10.2013 22:43

I like it!

Please post a picture of them at night.

Wenzel 16.10.2013 07:32

I also like the new taillights. Keep on! :)

FraH2O 16.10.2013 10:22

Day light test passed. The light have the same oem luminosity

http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/10/383.jpg

http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/10/384.jpg

I like the result.

http://www.golf3.de/images/imported/2013/10/385.jpg

I like the 3 series because is the last '90 gti. I like the '90 custom way. I think full rot, clear or lexus are good taillight but not natural born for a mk3.
I think a black magic color is the best, but i love to much my self made light. So similar, but i love deep black.
Hella Magic = 90 to 150 euros
Hella Fra = 10 euros for FlyEyes

djskapz 22.02.2014 11:02

Ask Francesco, if he buyed on the internet ;) ebay or something else

what's going on Francesco with your Mk3???

FraH2O 24.02.2014 07:54

Hi mates! The rear light film are from FLYEYESKIT.co.uk. Purchased on a english site. They are good, cheap, easy and fast fitting.

The golf is stopped, this year i bought my new house with my girlfriend. To much money to spent. I'll make some treffen like worthersee and few other. But GTI 2014 version will be the same of the 2013.... :(

ChrisCabrio 24.02.2014 09:13

Nice Thread!

don´t chance the wheels. i don´t like the lorinser ones.
New Front with Douple Headlights will be fine!

Really good work from the beginning.

djskapz 24.02.2014 10:20

I don't think that is bad or a problem when your mk3 looks identical like last season... ;)

It looks good and so you can meet the events you like and have
not a building yard the whole time...

;)

FraH2O 06.04.2014 22:53

This year will be the same for my gti. Changing home is a long time project e to much expensive. I'ill wait next year to came back golf front end and for Lorinser wheels.

But this year, is the lego movie year....

And this is my home edition lego movie. :D

The headlights look great with the cover! Did you open the headlights and paint them black on the inside too? Or is it only the cover?

Cause I read the issue with the police:
What´s the current situation in IT with such low cars? Is there any way to drive them legal there?

Hi!
The headlight are not painted..are with FlyEyesKit film.

In italy we don't have min or max height....so it's easy to live, and police is more soft. The problem is speed, alchool and drugs with our police....low and slow tuning is accepted (moderate tuning)

saschki84 23.07.2014 14:36

the great golf front is just better ... vento you see too often!

G.A.S is the better decision;)
